Current Work

Task Forces

The Eau Claire Health Alliance identified 13 objectives in our 2025-2027 Community Health Improvement Plan. Task Forces convene to complete these objectives. Task Forces will change throughout the years as objective work gets completed and new objectives are selected for Task Forces to begin their work on. By the end of 2027, all 13 objectives will have been worked on or completed. Listed below are the current Task Forces.

Harm Reduction Educational Campaign

  • Objective 1.2 Use best practices to create a community awareness campaign about the benefits of harm reduction to change stigma around it, centering the voices of people with lived experience.

Built Environment Policies & Plans

  • Objective 5.1 Support at least three strategies to promote existing built environment resources to increase physical activity and community connection, focusing on groups experiencing disparities.

Youth and Extracurricular Activities

  • Objective 4.2 With youth input, identify and implement at least three strategies to connect youth who are not involved in extracurricular activities to programs and resources.

Transportation to Shared Spaces

  • Objective 3.2 Conduct an assessment to identify gaps in transportation to shared spaces and the populations most impacted by gaps; and support at least three strategies to address these gaps.

Outreach to youth caregivers about the harms of normalizing drinking

  • Objective 2.1 Conduct quarterly education or outreach to caregivers of youth in grades K-12 about the harms of normalizing drinking.

Bi-Monthly Coalition Meetings

We invite all interested community members, and other partners to attend our bi-monthly meetings. At these meetings, we provide education/training from health priorities, coalition trainings/resources, updates about progress toward achieving objectives, and networking connections for collaborative health improvement.

    Thursday, November 19 from 1-2:30pm (Room G034, Eau Claire County Government Center)
